All neutrons are expected to have mass. Some even say that this is responsible for providing the mass that the atom may have. There are some atoms that do not contain neutrons though, but most atoms are known to have neutrons in order to ensure that the protons will not repel each other and cause chaos within the whole atom. Getting the mass of a neutron can be a bit complicated, but this is not impossible.

Protons and deuterons need to be used in order to find out the mass. An easy way is to know the atomic mass, but if you do not have access to the atomic mass or you have no way of knowing the atomic mass, you may choose to do more complex methods that are available.

Neutrons clearly have no electric charge and their mass is a bit larger than that of a proton. It is the protons and the neutrons that make up the nuclei of the atom. The protons and neutrons work together in a similar way within the nucleus. Each of these have a mass of about one atomic mass unit and they are both considered as the nucleons.

All neutrons have mass but no electric charge. Their mass is larger than the mass of the protons. Although the weight of the atom is so miniscule, the weight of the neutrons are part of the weight of the atom. Thus, the protons, electrons, and the neutrons all have their respective amount of mass.

Yes, all neutrons have mass. The mass of a neutron is a little bit larger than of a proton yet a neutron does not have an electric charge. A proton has a positive charge and carries the atomic number of an atom while the neutron is neutral thus its name and must not be confused with a negative charge.

Neutrons can exist outside the nuclei of atoms but they have the potential to be very dangerous. When neutrons travel at a very fast rate, they have the capability to produce lethal radiation. A neutron bomb can kill animals and people while doing minimal damage to physical structures such as buildings.
