Yes, it seems that the Romans did stress on mythology as much as the Greeks. Roman and Greek mythology have common similarities in spite of being from different time periods. Along with their similarities, there are significant differences as well. Greek mythology was almost 1000 years prior to the existence of Roman mythology.

The similarity of both these mythologies lie in the fact that both of these are great pieces of literature. Greek mythology presents amazing tales that are difficult to explain and Roman mythology has lots of battles and stories of immortals. These connections prove that the Romans stressed on mythology as much as the Greeks.

There are a lot of people who are more familiar with Greek mythology but the moment that they become interested in this, they also start to study Roman mythology more. It should be remembered that the Romans stressed on their mythology as much as the Greeks did.

There was just as much stress on mythology for Romans as Greeks. Mythology is the study of the gods and goddesses and the stories involved with them. Both the Greek and Roman cultures have similar stories and separate stories using the gods and goddesses. In Greek mythology, Zeus is the king of the gods, but in Roman mythology, Jupiter is the king of the gods.

For the goddess of marriage, Hera is the Greek name and Juno is the Roman name. Poseidon is the name of the God of the Sea in Greek mythology and Neptune is the same god in Roman mythology. The same amount of stress happened for both, but Greek mythology is more well-known by the names of the gods and goddesses.
