What do you think is the biggest weakness of Jeff Bezos?

At first glimpse, one would assume that a successful billionaire, who has been declared the wealthiest person in existence, would make it challenging to find a weakness. Everyone has them, and this gentleman, even though prosperous, is reported to be non-consistent as a manager. Mr. Bezos berates his employees in front of others and micromanages to a fault.

On the other hand, there were times when he let employees fly by the seat of their pants without work review. He has been reported as temperamental and “calling you on the carpet,” no matter who is there to watch and hear. Even though Mr. Bezos has some good managerial practices, consistency is still the key to productive employees.

I believe that the weakness of Jeff Bezos is the way that he handles his employees. He knows very well that customers have to be happy in order to make his company large and well-reviewed. He failed to realize that in the process of making his customers happy, he is making his employees very unhappy because of his demands and the things that he would like his employees to do. He is known to fire employees who do not fit “his standards.”

Whenever there is an employee that was complained by a customer, the employee is immediately fired. This is unfair for the employees who are doing their best in order to improve the company. His lack of warmth towards his employees is his biggest weakness.

Jeff Bezos is the richest man alive ever. His success is off the charts. And to point out the weakness of a person as successful as Jeff will be hard. He started a company called Amazon inorder to make the shopping experience easier for people. But it is also known that every person will have some areas of weakness. Jeff says that Amazon’s success or strength is its weakness and this can be applied to Jeff Bezos too.

Jeff Bezos is known to be a horrible boss who is so focused on his customers that he fails to look at the whereabouts of his employees. He is said to fire drill his employees if the comes across any of the issues that were raised by his customers and he is also known to make his employees over work to the point that there isn’t any space for mistakes and there are unreasonably high expectations for many of them.

When someone is such a success and is considered to be the richest person in the United States, it is hard to determine a weakness. However, behind every success story there is weakness. This person did not get everything correct. He probably had many things not work before being successful.

He probably also didn’t succeed instantly with Amazon when it first began. So, his biggest weakness has been said through criticism of him that he has not contributed enough to his local communities. There is always room for more contributions especially from the richest in the world. One way for him to overcome this weakness is to contribute more. He has started to do that through his foundation which targets education.
