Jeff Bezos is actually known for having some mantras but one of the most popular mantras that he has stated is: “If you don’t want to be misunderstood, then don’t do anything new or innovative.” This means that you need to be prepared for the things that other people will throw your way.
You may have a great idea that people will not agree with. You just have to keep on pushing until people finally see things your way. The more that you show off your ideas, the more that people will start to believe in what you are showing them. Of course, if you do not have the perseverance to work, you will not be able to do this.

A mantra is known as the common phrase or slogan that someone says continuously. It becomes a slogan that they directly believe applies to them or their personality. Some of Bezos’ mantras should include certain words and topics including guilt trips and peer pressure. He believes that you should not cave to guilt trips or peer pressure.
He also believes in patience in order to be successful. Realistically speaking, you do not want to give up on your ideas just because they don’t work out the first time. Always, try, try again. Also, you need to look at the bigger picture. If you simply are looking at your own product without ever looking at the effects and factors that influence it, then that is not going to work.

If you don’t want to be misunderstood, then don’t do anything new or innovative. This is the mantra of the richest man ever alive. This can either motivate or demotivate people. What Jeff means by this is that, when we set out on a new adventure that has not been taken on by many, people will not really understand us and would tend to start judging us or even call us crazy.
The number of people who called Jeff crazy when he started Amazon and took investments were more compared to those who believed that good could come out of this. But his wildest dream is what made him the richest man ever. Some of the other major mantras that Jeff had were, have no regrets, follow your heart not your hand, pick a good name for your venture, focus on the audience and focus on your passion
