Of course, speed is dependent on time. The logic behind this is very easy to understand, even if you are not a physicist. Speed refers to the rate at which something moves. So, if an object is moving very fast, the total time taken for it to get to its final destination will reduce. Also, if an object is moving very slow, it will take it a very long period of time to get to its final destination, and the total time taken will increase.

This will also reflect in your calculations. Let's say an object covers a distance of 16 meters in 4 seconds, then the calculated value for speed will be 4 m/s. Also, let's assume we are to calculate the value for time and the distance is still constant i.e., 16 meters. Also, speed =8m/s. Then, Time= Distance/speed, Time=16/8= 2s. This shows that the higher the speed, the lower the time is taken, vice versa.

Yes, speed is dependent on time. As an object moves slow, the time that it takes to arrive at a specific destination is longer. However, the faster an object moves, the time will decrease in how long it takes to reach the designated area. Take a moving car for instance.

If it moves at 75 miles per hour, you can undertake a 60-mile journey in a little less than an hour. However, if you are driving at 45 miles per hour, the same distance will take longer to cover. Speed and time are affected by various mediums and scenarios.

As the rate of speed moves forward, time will slow down. The speed of light is the perfect example of this. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. However, mediums such as water and glass have been shown to slow down that rate of speed.
