Nuzzling is a term that is used to describe when something is pushed with the use of the mouth and nose. For example, a horse may nuzzle another horse. This means that the horse is showing some affection towards the other horse with the use of his mouth and nose.
Take note that this term is not only used for horses but also for other animals. It is possible for your dog to nuzzle against you especially if your dog is trying to show you some affection. It is possible for animals to nuzzle everywhere. This term is also used at times to describe humans that are showing affection towards each other.

Nuzzlng refers to an animal that rubs his nose against something. Different animals nuzzle including zebras, horses, lions and dogs. They may also nuzzle other animals or humans for different reasons. Most of the time when an animal nuzzles, it may also lick at the same time or right after or before it nuzzles. Lions are believed to nuzzle each other for one of two reasons.
First, they may nuzzle in order to become less stressed. The other reason is because the lion wants to show who is in charge. Dogs may nuzzle for a couple of reasons including showing affection to its owner. It may also nuzzle in order to persuade its owner to do something. This nuzzling can be misinterpreted.
Nuzzling is the act of rubbing or pushing your face gently with the nose and mouth against something in a near foetal embrace and enjoying the sensation. Nuzzling does not involve the use of any limbs. The act is usually done to show affection and love for something.
A perfect example of this is what a cat does to your neck. Cats love to rub up against their owners; dogs do the same thing too. A horse can also nuzzle a person’s hand.
Another example is a mother nuzzling her new baby’s head.
