There is calcium in many foods. Sometimes, calcium is added to foods and drinks so that people will ingest this needed element into their bodies. However, calcium can be easily found. Rocks, seashells and chalk contain calcium. Therefore, if you can find certain rocks and chalk, then you may be well aware that calcium is in abundance. Also, seashells are easy to find. Calcium has so many important uses and also acts as an allying agent. When you can use an element by itself and combined with other elements, it obviously increases the ways in which it appears in all aspects of every day life.

In some form or other, calcium may be in the walls of your house, your medicines, your foods including the vegetables from your garden. Because calcium is the sixth highest element found in the Earth's crust, it is accessible, widespread, and can be mined and quarried. It doesn't have to be produced: it is natural. Calcium can be found in the food we eat, there is a lot of calcium in milk and other dairy products. It is found in non-dairy products like legumes, green vegetables and sea food.

In summary, calcium is everywhere and that is where it is so common.
