Secure the crime scene! If the evidence is tampered with, it can ruin an entire investigation! Usually, the murderer/suspect is not going to hang around to admire their work. If you've found the body, it's likely an accident on the killer's part. Secure the area to prevent further contamination, and call it in. Then let the pros take care of it after you give your statement. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING!!!
