Signs of bad parenting include: No rules or too many rules, children need structure and boundaries to grow up into healthy individuals, if the child grows up with no discipline or too much discipline; the child will suffer in the long run.

Comparing the child to others, not praising the child for his achievements, too much pampering, being a poor example, physically intimidating the child, you do not give your child a choice, being over protective, not giving your time, always criticizing the child and not respecting their feelings are some signs of bad parenting.

Your child runs to you when they have a problem, they discuss their feelings with you without fear that you will judge them, you encourage your child to purse interest and talent, not comparing your child to others, you listen and your child listens to you, you teach them good values and you understand their feelings are some signs of good parenting.
