When was George Washington born?

George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. He died two years after his presidency on December 14, 1799. He was born in Virginia in the town of Wakefield. George Washington was the first child for his parents.

His father was Augustine Washington and his mother was Mary Ball Washington. George and his parents were born in the United States which was unusual for many people in the United States because many of them emigrated to the United States.

Washington’s great-grandfather had emigrated to the United States. He came from England. Many members of Washington’s family owned slaves and farmed their land. One story about Washington was about when he chopped down a cherry tree and lied about it. However, no one knows if this story is true.
