Who should I choose between my wife and mother?

Often times, mothers-in-law and daughters-in law do not see eye-to-eye about things. It seems there is greater tension between these two if they live close together especially if they live in the same household.

The mother seems to want to make the decisions or the mother doesn’t like the person her son has chosen to marry. Then there will be conflict between the two and the son or husband feels trapped in the middle of their problem.

He must choose a side. It is believed that he should choose the wife because as the saying goes, “happy wife, happy life.” However, he should determine what the problem is because if the problem is the fault of the wife, then he should not side with her.
