There are many badass revolutionary war heroes. His skills and intelligence were excellent during the war. He was able to attack different ships even in broad daylight by surprise. Some of his top leaders were not as experienced or helpful as he had wished they would be.

Some of them did not believe him when he would tell them to do something. However, everything would work. However, there were other Revolutionary War heroes who are just as badass as John Paul Jones.

Known as the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion contributed to the revolutionary war. Also, Paul Revere was pretty badass because he notified everyone when the British were coming so that they could be ready to attack them. That is what happened at the Battles of Lexington and Concord.
