Why is Martha Stewart so famous?

Martha Stewart is known for crafts and cooking. She is one of the first women to get her start on television with her own cooking and crafting show. From that point, she grew more famous when she started making cookbooks and selling products pertaining to crafts and cooking at different department stores.

Martha Stewart began as a model and her looks helped her. She then began baking goods and selling them. People started to notice her. She began her television career at the right time when women started to get cooking shows.

Although, Julia Child paved the way for Martha Stewart. Unfortunately, Martha Stewart went to prison for a short period of time and her popularity grew as a result of that as well.
