There is a direct correlation between age and baldness to some extinct. This means that age does play a large role in baldness. Many people who lose their hair completely are at an advanced age compared to others who lose their hair or those who do not lose their hair. Both women and men lose their hair after age fifty or their hair becomes rather thin.
That is not to say that some children even suffer from hair loss, but most likely they will not be completely bald. Only a small percentage of the children will suffer hair loss. Most of the time if someone loses their hair or becomes completely bald, he or she is fifty years old or older.
