There is no actual number set out on how high the airspace of a country should be.
However, most countries set their airspace as high as 100,000 feet (30,000 meters) and many others set theirs as high as 525,000 feet (160,000 meters).
According to Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI), the outer space is set to begin at 100 km above the earth’s surface but the US considers anyone who has flown above 80 km to be an astronaut. The lowest satellite orbit is at 300 km, satellites do not come in conflict with sovereign airspace.
The boundary between public airspace and private air rights is set by national or local law.
