My favourite play is As You Like It, a comedy about confused gender roles, nature and politics. The differentiation between the two females, Celia and Rosalind, is enjoyable as is the fun with the gender change in the forest when dressed as a male, Rosalind falls in love and has to remain in the pretence of being male, while hoping that somehow she will become loved herself instead of her rival.
There is tremendous humour in this situation and with less noble characters in a similar situation. The shepherd Silvius suffers unrequited love for Phoebe, who has fallen for Ganymede, while Touchstone is pursuing the goat-herd Audrey. Skilled actors can make these scenes extremely funny.
