Satire is really meant to be informative where it sends a distinct message to its reader. At the same time, it is also meant to be a little funny because it pokes fun at something. However, there are times when a satirical piece offends someone. It may be that whatever is being made fun of is important to the reader. There are other times when a sensitive issue is made fun of.

This insensitivity results in readers of the piece getting angry. Therefore, when writing a satirical piece of drawing a satirical drawing, the author needs to be made aware of the issues at hand. He or she should stay away from events that people are angry about or are even sad about.
