Human resource is the department or division which oversees the hiring, training, administration and termination of employees. Human resources also refer to the people who make up the organization who work under its many facets such as in: Sourcing, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and employee relations which includes managing and terminating employees, if needed.
Companies always have a human resources department because this department are the ones who are responsible to determine the need of employees, the type of employment needed, train and orient new employees, guide and penalize erring employees, provide equal opportunities to workers, deal with issues in performance, and manage the employee compensation and benefits. They say it’s easy to work as human resources personnel, but these people are highly skilled and their work are vital to the company’s success.
