There are a few things that we can do regarding the promotion of sustainable tourism. One thing we as consumers can do is pay close attention to whether the tourist attractions we are visiting have sustainable tourism policies in place.
As consumers, where we spend our money matters and if we begin giving more money to sustainable tourist attractions rather than unsustainable ones, the companies will listen.
As developers we can try to follow the three pillars of sustainable tourism which are the socio-cultual, environmental and economic effects of tourism. It is very important to try to implement these ideals in order to create a sustainable tourism atttraction.
