Contrary to the opinion of many, Santa Claus is actually real and not a hype. Saint Nicholas, a bishop is commonly referred to as “Santa Claus” or “Father Christmas”. He was known to be very generous, he was also known to travel around helping the sick and the poor.
St. Nicholas day use to be celebrated on the 6th of December in Europe before Martin Luther influenced the Christmas eve celebration were by children who are “well behaved” anticipate gifts from Santa Claus. St. Nicholas is real but the part that talks about children being presented gifts is just a hype.
