Yes, sleeper sharks live on the sea bed. Sleeper shark are also known as Pacific sleeper shark as it it specific to the Pacific Ocean just as the Greenland shark is specific to Atlantic Ocean. Sleeper shark belongs to the family of Somniosidae.

The sleeper shark prefers to stay and swim far down where it is colder often about 2000 meters (6500 feet) below the surface of the ocean. They prefer to inhabit continental shelves and slope. At high latitudes, sleeper whales can be found close to the shore of the ocean.
