Most times of the year, Alaska has a weather below 32 degree fahrenheit. In the North of Alaska, the climate there is artic climate which results in long and cold winter; cold summers are recorded here. It is possible to have snow all year round.

The interior of Alaska has a subartic climate, the interior of Alaska also holds the record of the highest and lowest temperature in the state.

The southeastern part of Alaska are most often temperature rainforest. It is also the wettest and warmest part of Alaska.

The highest recorded temperature in Alaska - 100°F (37.8°C) in Fort Yukon June 27, 1915.
Lowest recorded temperature - -80°F (-62°C) in Prospect creek January 23, 1971.

Alaska holds the record as the state with the most extreme low temperatures except for July and August.
