A star is an object which has a mass which is capable of igniting fusion to crush atoms of hydrogen into helium. These stars are formed when large gas cloud collapse inward. At about 10 million K, the hydrogen nuclei fuses into the helium nuclei to form the star. Stars are classified based on their luminosity, size and lifespan. This star is about 600 light years away from the earth. This star was found using the data from and experiment known as WASP. It was first mistaken for a planet and late they noticed some sort of constant dimming in its parent star. This lead them to study this more and they realized that it was too large to be a planet and that it was essentially a tiny star.
