International Women’s Day is a time for people to stop and reflect on how much we’ve all been impacted by the women in our lives, a holiday where females everywhere can celebrate themselves unapologetically. More importantly, it’s a day to highlight not only the strides that have been made for equality, but also the work that’s left to be done to achieve it.
The day also serves as both an affirmation of solidarity and an empowering rallying cry to motivate and mobilize among women, whether in politics or private business. When it comes to marketing, it’s a way for businesses to display their values and to show their fans they know how to use social media for activism.
