Women have been making gains in education, but they still aren’t breaking into some key areas of study. According to some surveys, the proportion of female graduates in computer science degree courses in most OECD countries fell in the first decade of the 21st century in large part because men made huge gains. Meanwhile, more women have been entering health-related areas.
Women are more likely to get a degree in health than in computer science. That's because, in gender equality societies, like the US, women have more career options. Other countries that don't have gender equality societies have more women invested in entering a STEM-related career in order to get access to better opportunities overseas since employment discrimination against women is widespread and women are often pressured to make amends with their abusive husbands. Women in countries with higher gender inequality are simply seeking the clearest possible path to financial freedom.
There are a lot of women who cannot help but become offended by this question because women are trying to explore different fields as they see fit depending on their personality and the things that they want. Still, it cannot be denied that in terms of politics, there are still a lot of men who are elected into office as compared to women.
Most of the presidents in various parts of the world are men. This is slowly changing as there are now women who are seeking higher positions and sometimes win against other men. This may still change in the next few years or so.
