Are looks really required to date someone?

Humans are visual creatures. Therefore, it’s pretty hard not to base a relationship on looks. It’s the first impression you can give someone, the first thing to draw them in. Women often dreamt of finding “Prince Charming” while guys dream of meeting a fashion model. Later on in life, personal appearances do tend to matter a little less, but, regardless, people still base our love life on that ideal that has formed.

No worries though, everyone likes something different. Someone may find you extremely attractive; it’s all about who you’re trying to seek out. The person you were talking to could possibly be as nervous as you are. For all you know, that person's thinking about the same thing. If not, that’s okay. Try to find someone else that will appreciate you for who you are, take more steps to clean up your appearance if you’re unhappy with it. There are a lot pf people in this world, and it’s almost impossible for you not to find someone.

Yes, looks are mandatory before you would date someone. The person does not have to be really good-looking before you can start dating. What matters is that you will find the person attractive. The person does not have to be the most beautiful or the most handsome as long as the attraction is there.

When you are not attracted to the person that you are dating, you will not have as much interest in the what the other person is saying. This means that a second date will probably not happen in the future. If you find the other person attractive, you would like to know the person more so that you can decide if you have some things in common.
