A lot of people assume that Neptune is the coldest planet because it is the farthest planet from the sun. This is known to be very cold. It is so cold that it will not be possible for humans to live there, however, the coldest planet in the solar system is Uranus. The temperature in Uranus is at -371 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Even if Uranus is known to be cold, the equator of the planet is known to be warmer than the rest of the planet. The poles also have a cooler temperature. Neptune is still cold because it only takes a little bit of heat from the sun.
