Neptune is considered to have a thick atmosphere. The atmosphere is composed mostly of hydrogen at 74%. It also contains 25% helium and a little bit of methane. The atmosphere of Neptune is connected to the mantle of the planet. There are a lot of clouds that are icy. The storms that are experienced by the planet are also massive.

There are different particles of methane that can make the planet appear blue from afar. This planet does not have a solid surface. It will be impossible to live on this planet because of this reason. Neptune has a moon called Titan that has a better atmosphere that is somewhat similar to Earth.
