How did Elizabeth Warren become a senator?

Elizabeth Warren taught at Rutgers. Her first project as a law professor in Texas had been to learn how bankruptcy worked in this country, and to learn about the people who found themselves in the process. She challenged the government in subprime mortgages.

She then set about teaching the country, what she learned from her students. Elizabeth Warren became the country’s teacher. She explained how crooks ran scams on unsuspecting Americans. Elizabeth wanted the opportunity to work with middle- class families and the common man. She wanted to be a leader.
