She graduated from Rutgers University. Newark School of Law. She was a law school teacher, and then she was a law school teacher, and then she was asked, in 1995 to advise the National Bankruptcy Review Commission. She helped write the commission's report and worked for several years to dispute legislation intended to impede the right of consumers to file for bankruptcy severely.
Warren was a member of FDIC Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion. She is an affiliate of the National Bankruptcy Conference, which is an independent organization that advises the US Congress on bankruptcy law. She won the United States Senate election Massachusetts in 2012.
