Mothra, who is a kaiju that first appeared in Toho’s 1961 film, “Mothra.” She is the most often recurring character in the Godzilla franchise. She is typically portrayed as the colossal caterpillar or imago moth. The character’s design is more evocative of a peacock butterfly. Rodan is a daikaju monster which first appeared in Toho’s film, “Rodan.” King Ghidorah is a modern take on the dragon, Yamata Orochi.
This character is usually portrayed as the arch-enemy of Godzilla and Mothra. Godzilla has some new threats with which to contend. Most of the villains in the new film are familiar to fans, and they are the usual villains in Godzilla.
