For those who are not aware what the olympus mons is, this is a type of active volcano that can be found on Mars. This is still young so it cannot be compared yet to the other active volcanoes that we may have here on earth. Even if there are some reports that this is still an active volcano, it has not shown any data change that will indicate that there are some changes that are happening to it.
This means that at best, this may be an active volcano and it has a big chance of erupting in the future. The researchers and scientists will surely have more ideal about this if they would study it more in the long run.
