It is already a well-known fact that it is the brain that will use most of the energy that the body is able to gather from different food sources. This explains why you may find it hard to function when you have not eaten yet. The body needs to have enough energy that will burn whenever you need to do something.

The brain usually takes about 20% of the total amount of energy that we have in our bodies. This explains why people usually feel physically tired even if they have just stayed inside the office. The fact that their brains are working can be enough to make them lose a significant amount of energy.
