Besides her outstanding qualifications, Nikki Haley has proven to be a strong woman who makes good decisions. She spent several years as the governor of South Carolina. She began in 2011 and continued until January 2017. When Donald Trump became president, he appointed her to that position. Besides her great personality and calm demeanor, she was able to be a great ambassador to the United Nations.
As a republican, she is in the same party as Donald Trump. Therefore, she was appointed to that position due to her political party. Her way of handling people and issues helped her succeed in both of her political positions as governor of South Carolina and United States ambassador to the United Nations. Hopefully, she will run for president in 2020.
