Nikki Haley is a woman who is a politician. Just recently, she turned in her resignation as United States Ambassador to the United Nations. She spent one year on this job and she was in charge of it. She was appointed by the president, Donald Trump to this position. She did a fabulous job at it and am sorry to see her go. A few jokes have been said that she will run for president in 2020, but she has denied these rumors.
Before that, she was the governor of South Carolina. One prominent part of her job near the end of her governorship was when Hurricane Matthew was about to hit. She made sure that everyone was informed of what to do.
