When Tom Cruise was 19 years old, he started his career in acting by acting in the movie Endless Love that was produced in 1981. It starred Brooke Shields. Tom Cruise played a minor role as Billy. In his second movie, Cruise plays a cadet in the movie Taps which starred a few other popular faces including George C. Scott, Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn to name a few.
Then Tom Cruise starred in The Outsiders and had a nice role in that one so that he became more famous. The first movie that Tom starred in was Losin’ It, but it was not as popular as Risky Business which was a more famous movie and really made Tom Cruise a household name.
