There are many times when sugar dissolves into the water. The most common occurrence is when making tea or coffee. One adds sugar for the taste to their liking. When sugar is added, it dissolves and is mixed into the tea or coffee. When this occurs, new bonds are formed between sugar and water. When they are formed, energy is given off. There is so much energy that the bond of sugar molecules and water molecules are broken.
This also occurs when salt is added to water. However, only a certain amount of sugar can be dissolved. If it outweighs the ratio to water, some will remain seen.
