Kate Hudson was described recently in the media as an "almost famous" actress, not a very complimentary description but the title of a film she starred in. If her recent performances are acceptable they don't seem outstanding and I think her last film was Deep Water Horizon, 2016, in which she was not a star. As Goldie Hawn's daughter, Kate Hudson is unlikely to dsappear into the background of domesticity.
