Could the sun be cooled down with technology?

No, it is not possible to cool down the sun using technology. We don’t have the means to cool down a celestial body that is many times the size of earth and thousands of times as hot. However, the sun is expected to go into a natural cooling phase. The solar minimum as it is called, is a fluctuation in the sun’s activity that is expected to decrease the sun’s temperature to a minimum.

Something like this happened in the 18th and the 19th centuries which resulted in a mini ice age in parts of Europe. However, this time around, scientists speculate that our greenhouse emissions make it hard for any such change to produce any significant effect on the global warming we are experiencing.
