Ezekiel also known as Hebrew Yehezqel is the prophet of Israel and is in the Old Testament Book. He is the center of the teachings in the book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew Bible. He is known to go into exile with the Israelites to the city of Babylon as decreed by the King Nebuchadnezzar.

It is known that god gave Ezekiel visions which he acted out for the Israelites who inferred different meanings from his actions. Although not much is known about his personal life, it is known that he was the son of a priest named Buzi and lead a humble life.
