Basic research endeavors to understand the biological and chemical processes by which crops, and livestock grow. Agriculture is described as a science focusing on the systematic way of producing goods through forestry as well as farming.

Agriculture is a critical element in discovering the various means of collecting and storing foods. This field of study is essential for humans to develop new technologies and systems to improve food supplies.
