Dwayne Johnson works out six times per week for 90 minutes per day. He wakes up at 4:00 AM because he says that is his “anchor” time and his warm-up is actually longer than his actual workout. He does about a one hour-long session of cardio. He runs in the neighborhood at the crack of dawn and if he hits the gym, he runs on the treadmill. Sometimes he likes to use the elliptical or stair climber because they have little impact on the joints.
The most important part of his workout is what The Rock calls "Banging and Clanging,” which is where he lifts weights. He does what he calls, "The Pyramid Structure," which is weightlifting where you begin with high repetitions and low weight in the beginning. The focus should be on maintaining your form.
