An art historian studies and discuss art. They analyse, interpret and organize art works through their research or the research done by others. They also serve as curators, some work as art collection managers, history lecturers and professors. Art historians have at least a bachelor's degree in art history.
Art historians work in a variety of places including universities, art galleries, art museums, libraries, archives and auction houses. They also travel around the world for research purposes, exhibitions and conferences.
