The arts is the expression shown through paintings, photographs, music, literature, dance, and several other ways. The arts have been around for many years. Even when students are studying history, it seems like there has always been some sort of arts in their textbook. They can’t think back far enough to when the world did not have art.
Even during the caveman era, they used to draw figures on the walls of the caves. It is believed that Ancient Greece is the time when all of the art came together to be the arts as opposed to people merely drawing and dancing. It gained a name to all of these different kinds of things. The Greeks, however, did not call it art. They called it techne.
