Art history is a study of human expressions. It includes the study of architecture, painting, furniture, sculpture, ceramics, photography, calligraphy, mass media, animations, decorative arts and many other visual arts. In involves several ways of studying visual arts from visual to verbal translations.
The study of art history involves analysing art and critical thinking leading to certain questions like: How did the artist come to create the work?, Who were his or her teachers? Who was the audience?and how did he or she and the creation, in turn, affect the course of artistic and social events.
The study also involves the analysis of the shape, colour, texture and other part of an artwork.
