One thing that is true about Johnny Depp is that he has the power to bring excellent acting to the characters that he has played. Even if he has a tarnished image as of late, there is just something about him that is so mysterious that Hollywood would still cast him some roles. Some fans of Depp are just happy to see him act.
He may not be the most pleasant person to be with in real life but the roles that he plays will always make an impact on people. The role that he has in Fantastic Beasts may be enough for people to focus on things that may be considered to be more important.
