Polysomnography is known to be a sleep study. This means that the person takes tests while sleeping. The method will be able to determine if there are any abnormalities in the person’s sleeping patterns. The sleep study will be able to tell if there are disorders that the person is going through. The faster that these disorders are seen, the faster that they can be diagnosed so that proper treatments will become available.

Even the movements that the person does will be checked in this study. You may need to undergo a sleep study if your doctor suspects that you have an undiagnosed sleeping condition that needs to be addressed soon.
