The phrase that best describes the property of selective permeability is “some molecule pass.” Let me shed more light on this in case you still dean doe acts. Selective permeability can is described as cellular membrane property that allows only certain molecules to exit or enter the cell.

This is an essential thing to be done so as to maintain the internal order of the cell irrespective of the alterations to the environment. Water, carbon dioxide, glucose, and ions, for example, may need to be exported or imported from the cell, but depending on its metabolic activity.

Also, there may be a need for signaling molecules to enter the cell, as well as the need for the release of protein into the extracellular matrix. The selectively permeable membrane, being present, permits the cell to exercise control over the timing, quantum, and rate of these molecules’ movements. The movement through a permeable membrane can either be active or passive.

Selective permeability means that this will allow some molecules to pass. When you say selective permeability, you mean to say that this is a type of cell membrane that will allow some molecules to go in and out of the cell. It will be able to differentiate the different types of molecules so that it will know which molecules it will allow passing and which ones they do not like.

The selective property will also stem from the intrinsic diffusion rates of the various molecules that can be found across the membrane. One example of selective permeability is the phospholipid bilayer cell membrane that is available in all cells that can be found in the human body.

The correct answer to this question is that Some molecules pass. Selective permeability is a part of cellular membranes. This process only allows some molecules to be entered or exited out of a cell. This process is very important because helps a cell maintain order.

The movement that happens with selective permeability is that it can move either passively or actively. An example of this is with water molecules. These water molecules move passively. They move through the membrane's small pores. An example of a active transport is when the kidney cells are reabsorbed to the glucose, vitamins, and the amino acids.

Selective permeability is a property of cellular membranes that only allows specific molecules to penetrate or escape the cell. This process is essential for the cell to maintain its internal order, regardless of the environment's changes.

For example: water, ions, glucose, and carbon dioxide could be imported or exported from the cell depending on its metabolic activity. A selectively permeable membrane selects which molecules can pass based on specific- criteria.

This facilitated or active transport may necessitate energy. It refers to its ability to tell the difference between various molecules, only allowing some molecules through while blocking others. It is the property of a living cell membrane that permits the cell to regulate which molecules can come through the membrane's pores.
