It is the Calvin Cycle that takes place in the stroma. The Calvin Cycle is composed of three stages. The first stage is when chemical reactions will require the use of energy in order to produce NADPH and ATP.
The second step is when the reduction of the organic molecule takes place. It is in stage 3 wherein the RUPB is regenerated so that the whole cycle can start again.
The Calvin cycle can be very effective in making sure that energy that comes from the sun will become converted into glucose that is needed by the plant in order to grow.
