How would you describe Cupid?

Cupid means "desire," which is also known as Amor in Latin. It is referred to as the god of desire, love, attraction, and affection. According to myth, he is regarded as the son of Mars, the god of war and Venus the goddess of love, and he was described to be a chubby boy, his iconography was described as a bow and an arrow.

It was believed that his arrow shots whosoever whether a god or human is filled with uncontrollable desire. Cupid is the perfect definition of true love and has extensive knowledge of poetic themes and visual scenarios.

The Cupid is a symbol of love, and it is usually associated with Valentines Day. The Cupid supposedly draws a bow, and with an arrow, he aims and strikes passion into the heart of someone. This is a very classic and traditional character, which was derived and immortalized historically to be the everlasting symbol of love on holiday.

He appears to be a part angel, and even though Cupid is not a part of religious rhetoric, Cupid is both a spiritual and mythical character. Cupid is the perfect symbol for true love and is represented heavily by the greeting card companies on Valentines Day.
